Downtown Sounds : Is a professional, DJ Entertainment company. For your convenience, we’re open seven days a week, to provide you with professional entertainers and personalized service. All of our entertainers have completed an intensive classroom and hands on training program. Each entertainer has five years or more of entertainment experience. Our training and years of experience have made us knowledgeable and committed in delivering you with an energizing performance, from start to finish. Phillip Paynter is the founder and president. Special Day- Downtown Sounds will handle your day with respect. Close attention is given to all the details and we coordinate all of the formalities with the other event services, to keep the activities in order and moving smoothly. By being professional entertainers, we help etch those smiles, love, and joy into the memories of everyone.
We’re really in the "Memory Business" by creating the memories for the photographer and videographer to capture.
Peace of Mind : Is knowing your special day will be in good hands with trained professionals, so you can relax and enjoy your day. Our entertainers conduct themselves with integrity and will be dressed in tuxedo or casual, depending on your preference. We maintain a comfortable sound level and emcee the introductions and make any announcements when needed. Song request are always encouraged. Downtown Sounds will charge up your celebration, by interacting and motivating everyone out of their chairs and onto the dance floor.
Client Meeting: An appointment is set approximately three to four weeks prior to your scheduled date. We start with a consultation to discuss your special day and our reception planner. We customize the agenda to your individual needs, detailing a schedule of events and discuss the type of music you want played for those special dances. All details are given the utmost attention from start to finish.
Arrival & Set-up: approximately two to four hours prior to your scheduled start time. We’ll have our equipment set-up and in working order. Your entertainer will be ready to perform approximately one hour prior to start time.
